After a long radio silence punctuated by several leaked images, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G has finally been announced with new information. The trailer and its contents were discussed at a modest party celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans series. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G producers Masakazu Ogawa (Sunrise BEYOND) and Yasunori Fujiwara brought the latest update of the series (Bandai Namco) to the event. The popular Japanese TV anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans inspired the upcoming mobile game of the same name.

Throughout the game, the player can control various characters, including Mikazuki August, Orga Itsuka, McGillis Farid, and Gaelio Baudouin. Protagonist Vistario Afam, his guardian Demner Kitako Jr. and protagonist Kornal Kosa will appear, along with several other new characters from Urr Hunt. The updated core visual of the game brings all these elements to the fore. There are also role-playing battles that use 3D models of mobile suits. The average movement speed of the players’ units will be used to determine when it is their turn to participate in the game action.

Only one of the player’s unit attacks can be used against an opponent at any given time. You can go into battle because your mobile suit and pilot allow you to think strategically. Since mobile suit battles are team fights, players can enjoy them by using simple controls or by participating in auto-battle modes. Ironblooded Orphans fans won’t want to miss Gaiden’s work Moonsteel and the debut of Gundam Frame and Mobile Armor, two special features included in this release.
